Menghack ponsel symbian disini berarti menjebol sistem keamanan yang ada di ponsel symbian agar dapat diinstal berbagai macam aplikasi tanpa ada pesan certificate error. Seperti yang telah diketahui kalau sebagian besar aplikasi-aplikasi symbian merupakan aplikasi unsigned yang oleh karena itu di semua ponsel symbian yang terdapat sistem keamanannya akan gagal dalam mengistalnya. Keberhasilan metode dalam menghack ponsel symbian tergantung pada tipe ponsel serta versi firmwarenya. Selain HelloOX dan HelloCarbide, baru-baru ini telah ditemukan metode hack terbaru dengan tanpa flashing yaitu dengan menggunakan Just HackIt! v1.1 by Coderus yaitu pada tanggal 19-4-2011.
